Wakaru’s Water Wise System solution was named one of the winners of the 2022 World Summit Award for digital solutions for the UN SDGs, in the Environment and Green Energy category.
The 2022 winners demonstrate how digital solutions decisively support societal challenges and help achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). The pandemic period demonstrated the importance of these solutions. This year’s winners are an excellent example of how digital solutions and applications can help protect the environment, support health, provide high-quality inclusive education, bring people together and share relevant information. The winning projects demonstrate the globality and diversity present in the richness of digital content solutions.
The World Summit Award WSA 2022, had the contribution of almost 100 member states of the UN, and the presence of about 800 projects and products for appreciation.

The Water Wise System® award will be recognized by an international audience at the WSA Global Congress, Wakaru® will receive the award in the environment and green energy category at this meeting that will take place between March 8th and 11th, 2023 in Puebla, Mexico.
The WSA Global Congress is an international networking and knowledge-sharing event for everyone interested in using digital technology and achieving the UN SDGs.
